I decided to order this as a gift for my DM, and he really liked it. It's a nice quality piece, but it does have a few little things that make it not quite a 5-star review. First, it's a little tight getting the sword into the base at first. He was able to do it, but it took a little bit of force, and there is always the concern that you might snap the sword. Also the flags are very easy to knock out of place. But besides that little bit of fussiness, this is a nice piece and it made a great gift to thank my DM for all of his work prepping our campaign!

The base and the sword are sturdy and I use this for two sessions so far and work great. I think people expect to just have the sword immediately fit but, you need to put some give in it so it won't fall over.Just wish the base wasn't so wobbly but, overall great product and nice to show off.

Easy to write on and erase but if you like moving your players/monsters around as turns go, I wouldn't use this. It can be a pain to move and place them.

Seems to hold up well, I will know more here soon. It's a birthday gift for my husband next month. We play DnD every Monday and he's our DM.We are always asking him the order of who goes next so I hope this helps everyone lol.I always read reviews before buying something and this seems to go back and forth, so we shall see. The design is very nice. However, the tip of the sword goes slightly through the base so it is not stable at all. I will probably just shave/sand a few millimeters from the tip of the sword.

This thing is beautiful, and I do not regret buying it. However, the paint on the base was flaking off, and the sword didn't fit super well in the slot. It was well enough to sit upright, but the slightest bump on the table could knock it over.
But this is not hard or expensive to make work. Throw some felt on the base to give it a good grip of the table and cover the ugly flaking paint on the bottom (the important details are on the top). Then add some minor padding on the inside so that it is a tighter fit, and this thing works wonderfully.
It is a very pretty and functional tool that we love.

Take note that I did give it a 2, 4, and 3 star I do love this item. The durability of the tags is low at best. I dropped it onto a carpet floor and the ends that hang on snapped off. I fixed with my best super glue and baking soda but it would be nice if I could buy more tabs.
I would also recommend to glue the stand and base together
