We did add a coat of acrylic over the top for protection after sanding them down.

These are quite cute and I love them. They didn't have a non-slip back, so I added the bumpers. Definitely recommend putting one in the middle for stability if you are going to do so. It seems quite sturdy and was easy to put together. Some of the wooden slots didn't quite fit, but they sent a little nail file to sand the wood down. Overall, I am quite pleased.

I give the coasters a 5, but the boat holder is a little bit of a pain. I viewed that part as an extra anyways.

Who DOESN'T need D&D coasters that fit in a dragon shaped longship?!

These were just as great as they look in the photos plus the seller was wonderfully responsive when a shipping issue came up. Highly recommend!

I bought this as a gift for a family member. Opened it to check them out before wrapping it. The stand has to be assembled and is thinning then I was expecting. But overall they are very detailed.

Have this as a gift to my DM, and he absolutely loved it! Very clean lines and felt pretty sturdy when put together. Coasters feel a little fragile, but not really a worry, assuming you aren't throwing them around.

The D&D Class Coasters Set of 12 with Holder are a good set of coasters for anyone that would like a themed coaster set. The only flaw with them is the thickness and the fact that they do not come with any kind of protect coat. Since the coasters are thin, a choice was made to give all twelve coasters a glaze coat to make sure the perpetration of a glass would not damage the wooden coaster. They worked well when used, and the design is for each kind of D&D class does allow for a player to feel connected to their coaster. It is a fun set that allows it to be added to a day of playing D&D. It is just a recommendation to apply some kind of glaze to ensure that the coasters have some kind of shelf life. Though if a buyer does not fear it, it is also fine just to use them out of the box.

This is an absolutely amazing coaster set. Whether you are an RPG nerd or an MMO (looking at you, WoW-heads) enthusiast, this is a not-to-miss. These really are just beautiful, too. The detailing is to die for, and the wood laser engraving is downright luxe.I personally liked the raw wood finish, though I'm not sure how they would hold up to staining from something like the koolaid we all drink when we become tabletop players. That having been said, I'd treat these with a bit of care and love. The best part of all is the little Viking-esque ship that these live within -- no need for keeping coasters neat on a messy table. The pine goes so nicely with almost any color scheme, too -- I have it against walnut/dark cherry, and it pops in the best way.

These things are awesome. They're the perfect mix of kitsch and geek chic.Everything is laser engraved to be both detailed and recognizable, and it's all pretty cool and precise. The coasters all fit neatly in this cool dragon/longship shaped holder. There's a coaster for each of the base PHB classes. I know the description talks about how each player can get the coaster for their character, but let's be realistic -- there's always that one person that's multiclassing, or you're playing a party of 4 bards in your hilarious meme campaign, or whatever, so it's pretty unlikely that there's a specific coaster that everyone gets. They still look cool, though, so whatever. My one complaint is that the coasters all have these stylistic cutouts in them, so if your drink is sweating (i.e., the reason you'd want a coaster), there's still a decent chance that you're going to get water on the table.

The wood is a little fragile, so be careful when removing it from the the cutout. They look perfect though! A little thin I think for my taste, but still awesome.

These Dungeons & Dragons coasters have the look. They come with an easy to assemble dragon holder. They're made of wood, with a hand-hewn appearance.Sure, they'll protect your table. But the coolness factor makes them special. A great gift!

In our family we have played D&D since the mid 1970's. We still do. These are a great item if you love the game. D&D is a social experience, and that means drinks and snacks. Even in Arizona cold drinks mean water rings if you don't use coasters. These are wood and function well for that. The laser engraving is crisp and the artwork is good. The little stand needs some assembly, but it just takes a few minutes. If you have worked with wood models in the past you know how after you remove them from their sheets you have to do a little trimming on the edges, especially where they join the wood framework. These are no different, but this is normal and not a big deal. I felt like the stand would be a bit fragile if I just fit it together, so I used a drop of white glue wherever I could and removed the excess with a tissue. That worked well, and the glue was dry an hour later. The stand is quite sturdy now. All in all I like this set.

This is a very unique item. I love them, except that they are not coated, so if you don't poly them, they won't last or look good for long. But after a little poly these things are ready to rock. Really cool idea.

We are a complete gaming household. Be is board games, sports or tech this house has probably tried it. My daughter runs a monthly D&D Campaign for a group and I figured this would be a fantastic set for the game room. There is some assembly to the dragon boat coaster holder. However, it isn't difficult and I didn't find it a burden to the product. But some people may have issues with that. Each coaster and all the detailing on the boat are lazor cut. None are overly thick but they do work as intended. Over time they may warp a bit.I do like that you could easily paint/color the coasters and boat then treat with a poly to protect if desired.Price point is very reasonable for what you are getting.

This is a great Thought of you! gift for the D&D player in your life.It is a very attractive decoration that is useful too.Well cut, it is not hard to assemble.

These are so cool I worry about water marks on them but they’re so cool I love showing them off during dnd sessions

These D&D Class Coasters Set of 12 with Holder Hexagon Gaming Mug Mats Wooden Laser Engraved DND Classes Icons Gift for Dungeons and Dragons are laser cut wood and work well as coasters on game night. I love the easy to assemble holder and the coasters have all of the base classes in version 5.These are good quality and make a good gift for your local DM!Highly Recommended!CFH

These would make a fun gift for a dungeons and dragons fan. That being said, they are not the highest quality. The wood is thin and cheap looking. The coaster holder is a little impractical to use. Something to bring out once in a while, but not good coasters for every day use.

I saw these, and HAD TO HAVE THEM! SO cool! They arrive with the coasters ready to go, and minimal assembly of your dragon coaster rack. The wood that these are carved from is a lightweight balsa wood (or something similarly lightweight), and they're finished beautifully . The pyrographic designs are beautifully and cleanly done, and every character class icon is well-suited to it, and beautifully done. A good friend of mine has a birthday coming up, and he's been a devoted GM and player for decades now, so this'll make the perfect gift! I'll buy him another one, though - this one is mine! ;-D
