Easy to put together. Came with 2 extra screws (and an appropriately sized magnetic screw driver) in case you lose one since they’re so tiny. I used the extra screws to bind the pieces together better in areas where they were bulging out a bit due to how tightly I had connected the pieces in other areas. Turned out well.Is VERY loud when rolling plastic or metal dice. Maybe buy some felt to line the pieces with before you assemble? It would help muffle.
PRO: easy to assemble, rolls dice adequately, looks great, compact design fits tidily on a bookshelf.CON: balsa wood, with laser-drawn patterns on the exterior: some delicate bits, like the points of the portcullis, can break easily but would never be touched during normal use, so it's not really a problem. Wood color isn't particularly attractive; it would take wood stain easily, but that might obscure the nice lasered-on designs.
I bought this bag unsure if it was my liking but I'm satisfied for this decision I made. The lunch bag is sturdy, it's large it can contain quite many things, it's stylish and there is also cutlery bag and a napkin.There's a small detail that I noticed, depending from the lightness in the enviroment the brown colour can turn lighter or darker. For the cleaning the compangy suggests to carefully remove the dirt by manually washing the spots with soap and cold water and then let the bag dry.The customer support of the company is fantastic, they reply quite fast, friendly and nice, something rare to see. I'd love if they send these tips in cardbox along the package, overall I'm very happy about the lunch bag which I could carry it everywhere with me!
My fiancé loves this to play DnD with. It makes the coolest sound when the dice are rolled. It was easy to put together and collapsible so it fits in his bag. Great product!
This is a fun kit. Relatively easy to assemble and lots of potential for customization. I decided to apply a light maple wood stain before assembling and it really made a difference in the overall look. I see where some have had trouble getting the screws to line up. I think this is because the larger pieces have a tendency to bow a little. I’m not sure if mine were bowed out of the box or if that happened while is was staining them. But if you don’t pay attention to that, there’s a good chance your screws won’t line up. It if you take it slow, put the screws in one at a time as you bend the pieces into alignment, everything goes together just fine. I also used a little wood glue on the edges to help hold it together.Standard size dice tumble through this without any problem. My only complaint is that I wish it would tumble them a little more. Maybe making the surface of the ramps a little rougher to encourage the tumbling or have one of the ramps turn 90 degrees might help. That being said, I’m getting fairly random results on the dice I toss in there.
I love this thing. Everyone at work thinks its just a brown bag lunch, but then they realize its canvas and they love it. Haven't had to add wax yet but it comes with recommendations on which wax to use. It would have been nice to have had a bit of wax with it as well but its not a deal breaker. Love this item. Would definitely recommend this
This thing is so freaking cool! Gave it to my DM boyfriend for valentine's day, I might get myself one too! I haven't tried it out yet, but I think if I stick a light underneath it, it'll glow.
This was the perfect template for my group. We have 4 spellcasters (2 actual and 2 that have spells) and they always get confused on cones or distance of their spells.
