This is definitely either a starter crossbow or low budget crossbow. But at this price you can't go wrong with this item. It is sturdy and durable. I have only tested it at ranges of 25 yards and under but it is very accurate at that range. The only thing I don't like it's at there is no notch on the stock for the cocking assist rope device. You have to be careful when cocking it with a rope device that it doesn't slip off. Also the safety is very hard to push but I guess I can be a good thing. I definitely recommend this bow if you are looking for something just to start out with or are on a very low budget. Don't let the price fool you... This thing is powerful and will definitely bring down a whitetail deer.

Excellent crossbow. Been whitetail hunting with it for two years now and bagged three deer. The scope is not great, and pretty much useless in low light at dawn and dusk. The bow is rugged and accurate and hard hitting. I've been using 100 grain mechanical broadheads, and the bolts shoot just like with the field points. Great weight for walking or stalking. I'm not a big guy at 5'7 , so this has become my go-to over a larger and heavier Barnett compound unless I'm in a tree-stand with a support bar. Light enough for a youth hunter to use, too. If you're over six foot, it might be a little too small to be comfortable.

Very fast and accurate. A little on the heavier side, but that adds to stability in my opinion. The sling is comfortable and does not slide off your shoulder. I’m not a big fan of the circle reticle or the push button adjustment for the illumination, but I already have a nice Hawke Optics scope with the speed adjustment to throw on it. The trigger is crisp and easy to get used to. Light, but not too light. Overall, I would highly recommend this crossbow. A side note, although I haven’t needed it for this crossbow, my experience with Barnett customer service has always been on point, and they are very courteous!

I ordered the black crossbow and upon opening box for inspection, I was pleasantly surprised when removing items from foam. They were beautifully machined, high quality anodizing and all components there. Very high quality and precision machining for something being called a toy. I'd definitely order more if they all look this well made. Waiting to arrive from China is the hardest part. Packaged very nicely, well protected and in heavy duty cardboard presentation box that just makes everything look so much nicer. Finally, something that I'm not afraid to say came from China. Brush up on your Chinese as there's no English on instruction sheet, but following pictures should help with assembly if you know how tools work (2-Allen wrenches). After looking over real well, I'd have some blue Loctite available to dab on the front bow screw to make sure it doesn't loosen up after tightening down.
