 My wife bought this for me as a birthday present and so far I love it. I Primarily wanted this so I can have my own way to roll my metallic dice set in safely because it was gouging our tabletop. Also I can roll my dice sets behind my dm screen now without sharing on the hexagon shaped tray that I bought for the players to use. Keeps my rolls secret while we play d&d.It took about 30 minutes up to an hour to build this. Take your time and it will come out fine. I am excited to paint this to give it a more customized look. This dice tower was very easy to assemble. I found the sections to be square and true. Than again it has been laser cut. It’s not balsa wood like someone stated in a review. It’s made of birch plywood. Pieces fit perfectly, they not only provide the screws they also provide the tool. I used CA thin set glue since I had it on hand because of my RC planes build. We play lots of board games like trouble, Monopoly, and my favorite parcheesi. To keep the noise down I decided to glue felt to soften the sound ( noise ). My grandson has autism and some sounds bother him. He is very good with math. Even with the dice tower he still wins most of the time.

For such a cheap price this is a very well-made dice tower! Assembly took quite a while (about an hour and a half) as I had to restart because the instructions aren't very clear. Be gentle with the screws or they may split the wood. I loved the foldable aspect, though! Made it much easier to wrap and gift my boyfriend.

I hate dice that go everywhere on the table under the table, etc. The tower is strong construction. It would make a fine gift (you know who needs this)

I wish the material was a little thicker because it’s plywood and it was lightly warped making it harder to get the screws centered.Would make a great gift if you know someone who loves table top gaming. Especially D&D and games where the castle theme compliments the game.I’m not sure how it would hold up to travel. It does get somewhat smaller by laying the tower into the tray. It does use really small screws so protect it if you do travel.Aesthetically the laser etching is quite pretty. The shield engraving has some Elder Futhark inscriptions. As far as I can tell it’s just random runes as it says nothing I can decipher. Also it’s runes are upside down and perhaps out of place in an Anglo-Saxon themed decoration.Overall though it’s a fun dice tower I hope to get a lot of use from.

As I was assembling the tower I discovered they packed two back panels and not two side panels. I've requested a replacement and will update upon arrival.Update: After a swift replacement I was able to put the tower together with no further issues. I suggest using a little rubber cement to help keep everything snug. The small screws don't bite into the wood enough for a strong hold.

I purchased this as a gift for friend. Upon reading it can be a little tricky to assemble, I decided I would build it, and then wrap it for them. It is a very cool piece! I totally suggest watching the video about assembling it before actually doing so. The paper directions are vague when it comes to the middle section. The only thing that disappointed me was that I received two pretty warped pieces. I was able to get them to work, but I easily could have broken it If I wasn’t being very careful. Also, it would have been cool if it was bigger, but I know my friends are going to love it. Very happy with the finished piece!
