This is a pretty cool item. The laser cuts are nice and clean, it's relatively easy to assemble, and the lasered details are nice and crisp, with no excess burning or anything. Overall very satisfied. When assembling, I would suggest taking your time and being patient. The pieces of plywood are good quality, but excess flexing will break them. (nothing on mine broke, but if you were in a hurry, it would be easy to, so just a warning)On the one I received, however, the top deck was ever so slightly warped, so when assembled, there's an 1/8 wobble. However, I'm sure that's a one off fluke, and it will be easy for me to fix. I'm just going to use some wood glue, and glue two stabilizing braces/ribs on the underside, clamp flat and let dry. Really no big issue, wood flexes and warps from time to time, it's just in it's nature.I'm definitely coming back for that mages tower ;)

It is a tight enough fit that I was afraid I might break pieces when snapping them together. I didn't break any of the pieces and it is solid once put together. Very nice.

I bought this knowing there was a possible risk of snapping while assembling. That is why, when feeling a bit of tension for the most tricky part, I was able to adjust and had no issues. I ended up buying a second ship and some rowboats as well for my sea adventure. I had no issues with breaking but a bit of patience and gentle pressure goes a long way to assembling the trickier parts. Once assembled, these ships are quite sturdy. I was missing a piece of the other ship and they quickly sent me a replacement part. Great customer service means a lot these days.

Price was great and it is exactly as pictured. It’s not super fancy or complicated but has a nice clean elegant look to it. It is balsa and there is a single step in assembly that can break it. I’m glad I payed attention to other reviews (their instructions even say to take that step very slowly and carefully.). If I didn’t already have it I would buy it again. Received their brigantine as a gift from them for their anniversary and it has me sold. I’m loyal now.

The keel snapped in half when I was installing the deck. The feet that hold up the keel and thus the whole ship didn't fit into their notches. I fixed both issues by gluing it all together.It's a great ship and will be really awesome in my next adventure.I would highly reccomend not trying to disassemble this ship for storage.
