Pretty easy to assemble. Everything snaps in fine and the instructions are easy to follow. The front of the ship is a little thin and I accidentally snapped it off when setting it down (totally my fault. Put too much force on it.) The grid is great and easy to see from a distance. The only thing I would have liked to see would be some cannons included, but I’ll just print some out. All in all it’s hard to find something to complain about.

I bought this for my DM’s birthday since we were going to be doing airship travel a lot. He was quite excited and assembled it right away especially since it was going to be needed for that session. It went together fairly easy. Seems sturdy enough and well mapped out

The ship looks great, and it was easier to assemble than I feared. I was careful with the pieces and didn't strain them. It all went together without much problem. I probably won't disassemble the ship, as I don't want the pieces to wear. The only slight negative is that the boat rocks side-to-side a little bit. The stern (and maybe the bow) piece is not flush with the side pieces. It might also be slight warping, though everything looked flat. A little pressure and it doesn't rock, so I'm sure it will be just fine with models on it, and a tiny bit of sanding will fix it. The ship looks great, though. Can't wait to use it in our pirate-themed Shadow of the Demon Lord game.

This was tricky to build but I had read the reviews, so knew a couple of pieces would give me issues ifI wasn’t careful. The main spine if the boat took some gently pressure but everything gave me no issue. I was missing a piece and they emailed me back well within 24 hours and sent me the piece along with some free wood mini’s. This was the second boat I purchased for my sea adventure and have built three of their models with no breakage.

Purchased this for a wet 'Firefly' game I'm running and it is just what I needed. Not a hard build, took less than an hour. A friend bought a pair of ships for the game and this one will allow for serious multi-vessel action!Assembly notes: A small sheet shows the step by step build, easy to figure out . . . proper alignment of the tabs to connect pieces can be a little tricky but be patient.- I suggest that you attach piece J and one set of stairs to the bottom of the quarterdeck (D) FIRST and then attach that assembly to the main deck. Same forward, attach piece F and one set of stairs to the bottom of the forecastle (C) FIRST and then attach that assembly to the main deck.

My present to my husband for his birthday, which was appreciated as his campaign is heavy on the sea transports. He said it was difficult to put together without extra hands. Once he did he was so happy and couldn't wait to use it. Then my cats decided to play dungeon master and tried to take it apart for him while throwing dice all over the floor. Needless to say I put it together again and hid it from silly kitties that love rpgs.

Such a great addition to any naval campaign. I bought two to simulate boarding action. Was not disapointed.

It was a little confusing to assemble when to use the larger wooden stud/pegs, but otherwise it was fun setting up!

I wish these were available a year ago, if they were I didn't know about them, because I needed a ship for some sea sessions in our D&D game. The only thing available were expensive resin ships ($200), wooden model ships meant for display, or foam puzzle ships. I went with the latter, which worked, but I like this so much better. It just fits the D&D style better and I love the squares which help with movement count. I'm going to have to take my group back out to the sea now.

One thing to note, because I didn't notice right away and had some difficulty keeping it together as I assembled. It comes with a sheet of shims that look like shields that you use to keep the connections tight. Add these as you put the ship together and you'll have an easy time.

It took some time to put together and some pieces are more snug than others, but great once put together.

Very cool, lightweight may be made with lighter wood but with good care will last a lifetime. Can be collapsed for easier storage and safekeeping unless you hot glue it in place (not recommended).
