I got this as a gift for a friend. I read the reviews some good some bad. I bought anyways because it was laser cut and everything should be exact. I seen where some people mentioned screw holes didn't line up. Then they posted a picture. Going by the picture it was error on their part. Whenever you have to line up multiple holes on a part you never crank down on the screws. You get the screws started then move to next. This allows the part to float to accept the hole alignment. Same thing when changing a tire on a car. You never crank all the way down on first bolt. You tighten all evenly all the way around until flush. Every screw hole or nail hole was dead on. The nails I had to use tweezers to hold as I tapped in. They were tiny. I stained it then did a black wash on it to bring out the etching from the laser. It helped but would be nice if the laser etching was a tad wider or deeper. The one in the picture looks ideal to me. Kind of like the laser was turned up higher and burned the wood more making it more apparent. But over all I think this came out great and should make a nice gift.
