This product is of decent quality, though for the price, there could definitely be improvements. First off, unlike some of the other reviewers, I had no issues with holes lining up, and the hardware installed rather easily. It just takes a loooong time. The hardware, while not expected to be top of the line, was a bit lacking in quality, as a majority of the pieces in my kit were slightly bent, and had to be hammered lightly with a mallet before installing. The engraved design needs work. Entirely too lightly etched if you plan to do any sort of staining/finishing of the wood before use. I stained with a light brown stain, coated with two coats of poly, and finished with a couple of layers of wax sealer, and the design has virtually disappeared. Not an overt deal breaker, as the design is only meh, but if that design is part of the pricing on this piece, then the quality of that etching needs to be stepped up. Also manufacturer may wish to rethink the cross motif, as it seems a bit out of place with DnD and most RPGs this would be used with.With all that being said, the product is overall of decent quality, if not a tad overpriced given the few flaws it does feature. I look forward to getting it to my game table soon.

If you’re looking for the perfect present for a Young adult male thats in to DND....this is IT!!! My son loved it and is in the process of making it his own by staining the pieces.

My son likes to work with his hands so in addition to getting a great laser etched product, he also can add his personal touch to it.

Love it and it's great for adding your own homebrew rules and leaving it on the dm screen. And it doesn't really take that long to put it together.

I got this as a gift for a friend. I read the reviews some good some bad. I bought anyways because it was laser cut and everything should be exact. I seen where some people mentioned screw holes didn't line up. Then they posted a picture. Going by the picture it was error on their part. Whenever you have to line up multiple holes on a part you never crank down on the screws. You get the screws started then move to next. This allows the part to float to accept the hole alignment. Same thing when changing a tire on a car. You never crank all the way down on first bolt. You tighten all evenly all the way around until flush. Every screw hole or nail hole was dead on. The nails I had to use tweezers to hold as I tapped in. They were tiny. I stained it then did a black wash on it to bring out the etching from the laser. It helped but would be nice if the laser etching was a tad wider or deeper. The one in the picture looks ideal to me. Kind of like the laser was turned up higher and burned the wood more making it more apparent. But over all I think this came out great and should make a nice gift.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my son. I am super happy with the quality and the etchings and it really isn't so difficult to put together. The other reviews worried me, but if you take your time and line up the screws/nails it all works out fine. Can't wait for him to see it!

Love it! Awesome! Only issue, due to the screw hole placement one flap opens a little higher then the other so I have to place something under the right flapto ensure it doesn’t rock or fall over. Other then that my group loves it!

Got this about a week and a half ago. Put it together and it looks great. Pieces all fit together easily and it is sturdy.All in all I am happy with the product.

Considering that this product is 200$ anywhere else it's pretty badass. Also tip for putting the tiny nails in, use a butter knife to squeeze the nail in.
