These would make a fun gift for a dungeons and dragons fan. That being said, they are not the highest quality. The wood is thin and cheap looking. The coaster holder is a little impractical to use. Something to bring out once in a while, but not good coasters for every day use.
No Dungeons and Dragons adventure would be complete without these amazing coasters! Let's face it, I know when I am in a group, I will always be drinking some sort of beverage and so will my friends. I opened the box to find the dragon boat pieces embedded in wood that you have to pop yet. Yes, some assemblage is acquired, but this should be no problem for a D&D adventurer. It comes with an easy to read guide to stick the slots in holes to make the dragon boat. The coasters slide in perfectly into each individual holder. I love the smell of fresh wood, so I know it is authentic. Each individual coaster is beautifully crafted along with the dragon boat. I cannot wait to have a D & D session together in the future, but in the meantime, my husband and I will use these coasters and have them on display on our coffee table. If you love Dungeons and Dragons, this is the perfect give for you and your group!
Got these for my boyfriend because he is a big DnD fan and he LOVES them! The stand was easy to assemble, the cuts were clean, and the coasters are nice quality.
I have no idea what these rings are for, but my daughter is really into D&D so I picked them up for her birthday. Not realizing that there would be an inherent redundancy, I ordered two sets which turned out to be from the same company...CZYY RINGS - $14.99You punch these rings out of little plywood sheets. Everything is beige. They match the squares I ordered from CZYY. They come in a plain black box, nothing special. 2 small nail files are included, presumably to dull edges so you don't get a splinter.CZYY “UPGRADED” RINGS - $24.99These rings come in a beautiful storage case that looks like a book. Everything is organized for you; there is nothing to punch out. The rings are colorful and very pretty.BOTTOM LINE: Which set you get will depend on your price tolerance, but the “upgraded” set is definitely worth the extra $10.

I play a lot of D&D and love hosting my own games and Dming. However, it can be hard to keep up with all the conditions that can happen to a player in a game. That's where these come in and are so awesome to have. Not only do they help keep up with what's going on to what player but they look great too. I can put these on the player's figures if they have them, or I can just hand them out and we all know what conditions have been played and on what player. These are very well made and so sturdy. They are made from thick plastic, so they are going to hold up through many hours of gaming. And once we are finished they are stored in the coolest looking box that looks like an amazing magical book. It even has a faux leather velcro latch that keeps the box closed. This is such a great condition set and we love it.

I have 20-something boys that played D&D when younger and have fond memories, so thought I'd get this set for them to keep their table/coffee table neater. I can see that this is a laser cut set which is cool, but what I had wished for with this set is that it be sealed to protect IT from wet beer cans and sweating glasses! I mean, this set is made from wood...wood absorbs water way too easily, so...making coasters means one should expect water to set on the coaster, right? So, before I give it as a gift, I am brushing on a layer of clear varnish to keep the coasters looking good. I shouldn't have to do that, but I want them to last...what else can I do? I little disappointed that whoever thought up these coasters didn't think about the fact wood absorbs water and how fast water staining and absorption will destroy these coasters...
way better in person. i love the packaging. the box is secured with a Velcro strap which is actually pretty strong. the gold foil pattern stands out the most to me. i think it looks professional and compliments the quality markers inside. it's all organized inside neatly and labeled too. we love everything.
These come in a nice box that you'll be able to reuse for a while. They are well organized and make good use of color coding. They are durable and will be able to stand up to a fair amount of abuse.Groups that use these will really enjoy them!*We are considering making a wooden box for ours though...because the box they come in won't stand up to the kind of abuse it's going to get with us. We drop things way too much for this thing to live through.

The dragon boat isn't hard to assemble due to any cryptic or difficult instructions, but I did have to sand down some of the pegs to get it to fit together. Once that was done, putting in the coasters was easy.I finally figured out that the two drummers were meant to fit into the little circular piece (again, some sanding was needed). I guess they go onto the front of the boat? The whole thing is really cute and cool, although, as might be expected, somewhat flimsy. The tiniest bump and those coasters are out of alignment and possibly on the floor. Still, a very cool piece to have for D&D night (or any game night).
My D&D-loving son really liked this set of coasters. When they're not in use, the coasters fill out the dragon “boat” and are eye-catching art. Some people might use the coasters in gameplay, but my son uses them as actual drink coasters. The pieces arrive flat in a box, and are wood cutouts that have to be “popped loose” from each other. For that reason I would not present as a gift in their original package, better to pop them loose and reward in a nicer presentation box.
This is a really good value for so many tokens. The images on the tokens are all cut clearly and the tokens themselves are cut cleanly so they are easily removed. None of mine had any spots where they did not detach from the wood easily. Each one of the monsters is numbered for initiative purposes and there's a pretty good variety to choose from. It also includes several classes to play with in case you don't have minis and a couple of bonus walls. This would be a great set for a DM that hasn't built up a store of minis yet or that chooses not to for financial or space issues. You can fit all 110 tokens in something the size of a deck box.
