My wife bought this for me as a birthday present and so far I love it. I Primarily wanted this so I can have my own way to roll my metallic dice set in safely because it was gouging our tabletop. Also I can roll my dice sets behind my dm screen now without sharing on the hexagon shaped tray that I bought for the players to use. Keeps my rolls secret while we play d&d.It took about 30 minutes up to an hour to build this. Take your time and it will come out fine. I am excited to paint this to give it a more customized look. Take a look at the pictures and video I have attached to this review if you need further convincing. I would recommend this to any ttrpg player.
awesome loved it but they should add to the instructions that the larger sized tabs are for a certain area to secure the head of the ship, I did not know why there were a couple bigger ones and used the wrong ones on the head of the ship.
This was a gift for a friend, but I didn’t know you had to assemble it. It looked nice in the end but at the start is seemed like a cheap Michale’s craft. for the amount it cost to purchase should have come assembled.It looks really nice and now I know to read through everything to make sure if assembly is required or not.There are very tiny screws that are tricky so make sure to assemble in a well lit area and on a flat surface.
I was looking for a dice tower to quickly construct for my first physical D&D group. This is a fantastic option and rather compact. The construction was simple; I used glue and the provided screws and it came together rather well. I would like to see different styles of towers from this company in the future!
A fun little project if you're into laser cut wood.I bought this for a secondary dice tower, so I can have my own when I'm DMing.The only reason I gave it 4/5 is because it is screwed together using tiny screws, and the screw driver supplied doesn't seem to be the proper size. I believe with a slight redesign so that you glue it instead of screw it it would be perfect. The placement of the screws could be a little better too. On the back and the front face of the tower the screws are located at the level of the thin bricks. If you don't angle them onwards a bit then the screw will pop up the thin brick. It's only something you'll notice if you look really close, but relocating those screws that are on the thin bricks and moving them down like 4mm to the thick bricks would solve this issue.All in all. It was fun to put together and works as it should. My roommate thinks the free gift Sorcerer is super cute too.
The instructions were easy, the parts fit together great. I am impressed with the size and the lazered decoration is gorgeous. They even sent spare pieces in case some broke during construction. I am really excited to use this for my D&D campaign.
This is a very nice dice tower. It came in a very nice packaging. Yes you have to build it yourself but that is part of the fun in my opinion. Will definitely purchase more as gifts!
Firstly, you get what you pay for. It's not easy to assemble, but it is sturdy-ish, I did have extra screws which I'm lucky for because I ended up having to use them to secure some pieces into place. But it's cute and looks nice once together.
This is a pretty cool item. The laser cuts are nice and clean, it's relatively easy to assemble, and the lasered details are nice and crisp, with no excess burning or anything. Overall very satisfied. When assembling, I would suggest taking your time and being patient. The pieces of plywood are good quality, but excess flexing will break them. (nothing on mine broke, but if you were in a hurry, it would be easy to, so just a warning)On the one I received, however, the top deck was ever so slightly warped, so when assembled, there's an 1/8 wobble. However, I'm sure that's a one off fluke, and it will be easy for me to fix. I'm just going to use some wood glue, and glue two stabilizing braces/ribs on the underside, clamp flat and let dry. Really no big issue, wood flexes and warps from time to time, it's just in it's nature.I'm definitely coming back for that mages tower ;)
Bought this as a Christmas gift for my kids. They're using it as their ship in our going on 3-year D&D campaign we play during school breaks. They put it together and they love it.
