Pretty easy to assemble. Everything snaps in fine and the instructions are easy to follow. The front of the ship is a little thin and I accidentally snapped it off when setting it down (totally my fault. Put too much force on it.) The grid is great and easy to see from a distance. The only thing I would have liked to see would be some cannons included, but I’ll just print some out. All in all it’s hard to find something to complain about.
First off, missed opportunity here for CZYY. I will get to that shortly. First the positives. These rings are easy to read, easy to store, and easy to use. You have MORE than enough for your campaigning needs. The laser etching is clean. Now the meh aspect. CZYY makes wood miniatures. I got two that were free gifts with my Dice Tray, and Dice Tower (I have left reviews on those as well). The bases for those miniatures are rounded, and these rings are donut designs. Would have been perfect if the Ring fit around the base. However, it makes sense that they don't due to combined use with tabletop mats. Regardless...excellent pieces.
First, it comes with a free miniature token made out of the same balsa plywood. Yes, this is made from balsa plywood. Don't let that deter you. The way this is constructed helps promote sturdiness and functionality. Also, there is a certain joy I get from rolling the dice on this tray. The click clack of dice on wood? Oddly soothing. Great center piece for your tabletop adventures, as well!
I chose this one over the prettier one because it was wood and not paper. The wood is a little on the thin side but it will suffice. Painting it maybe a challenge because I do like the squares to denote distance for miniatures. The illustrations for beds, tables etc are much too small, but that is a minor thing. Over all I really like it and would recommend the purchase.
I could talk for days about the craftsmanship of this bag. I figured it would be a bit smaller but I was surely surprised by a nice size bag that I use at my home games for my special DM dice. The red eyed one looks awesome. Some LOTR vibes.
Hey, I can now demonstrate a wall of fire that really looks like fire! This beats using plastic flex rulers. I also was able to use the other pieces by carefully cutting with a coping saw and then using the scrap base pieces as well with glue to make more walls. Every D.M. should have this!
I really like this dice tower. It's beautiful and easy to transport but has a delicate touch as well. I only wish it was a little bigger for the bottom tray where the dice land. But that is a minor thing. It works just fine and I love it. I've gotten a few compliments from my friends on it.
This is a must have! It saves so much time when playing as it allows both players and DM to quickly designate sell effect areas and keeps gameplay moving smoothly.
Bought it for my dungeon master daughter and it had really helped her manage battles with the large campaign she runs for the library. Nice size, packaged well, durable and attractive.
Great! Enough pieces for a small party and perfect if you don’t have the cash to throw around for a bunch of minis. Note: only one piece per class and 9 each of different enemy types (I.e. humanoids, celestials, undead, etc.)
I hate dice that go everywhere on the table under the table, etc. The tower is strong construction. It would make a fine gift (you know who needs this)
